LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on December 30, 1984, is an American professional basket ball player who is a member of the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) within the National Basketball Association. He is referred to as King James and is considered to be one of the top basketball players to ever play. James has won four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVP Awards, Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is an NBA All-Star and has more playoff points. having the second-highest career point number and the seventh highest career assist total. James has been named by the NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected as a member of be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. James has been a part of ten NBA Finals the third most throughout his career, which includes eight straight times between 2011 and 2018. In 2021, James was named to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the only to be the first player from NBA history to score 10,000 or more career points rebounds and assists. James played basketball for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in the city he grew up in, Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a possible NBA star. As a pro-prep player, he was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. He was selected as one of the NBA player of the year for 2004. He soon became one of the top athletes of the NBA, winning the NBA MVP Award twice in as of 2009 and in 2010. James, who didn't achieve the Cleveland championship in 2010, resigned as free agents and signed with his team the Miami Heat. This was discovered as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a sports free agent ever.
