Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish is best known for her film roles as Heidi in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) and as Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and also for her role with director Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) as well as the film Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish got her debut Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast in this film. Gilpin was able to land a handful of minor TV roles in the following years, but her breakthrough was when she landed Nurse Jackie's regular role. As she played Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared on 34 episodes of the series prior to when Nurse Jackie closed its doors in June of 2015. Gilpin played the role as a character in True Story, a thriller featuring a mysterious element.
