Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her grandmother lived in the slums until she was three years old, when she was adopted. Her adopted father, a Filipino-American with military background, is white and American. She said that both her and her brother who was adopted had been subject to abuse from the time the age of a small teenager, right up to the moment she joined up. Her family and she moved to Texas when she was thirteen because her father was undergoing bypass surgery. The family spent a couple of weeks there in San Francisco with her aunt. Her father did not take action to stop the abuse psychologically, even though she claims that physical violence had diminished. Poarch joined the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch started her TikTok profile in April of 2020. Within eight months she had more than forty million fans. The zoomed-in video of her moving her lips and jumping to the song made the rounds and was one of the top TikTok videos ever. In order to capitalize on the popularity she gained after joining TikTok in December 2016, Poarch set up YouTube and Twitter profiles. The fame of Poarch peaked in the month of December in 2020. Poarch's rising popularity was reported to have drawn two of the top professionals Esports Teams. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves have expressed interest in her hiring as a creator of content under their respective brands.
